Fonts for Diff Tool

To display Cyrillic, Japanese, Korean, Chinese and other characters on DiffTool

This package installs fonts which can be used for APPs like DiffTool (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.difftool) to display Cyrillic, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Thai, Hangul and many other characters.

Please check licenses below and that your device has 32 MBytes of free flash first!

This package contains the WenQuanYi Font with more than 34000 characters, it supports Latin, Cyrillic, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and many other languages:

• wqy-MicroHei.ttf (Apache 2 * / GPL 3 License **)

And this package contains the 4 GNU Free Fonts supporting Latin, Cyrillic, South Asian fonts and others:

• FreeMono.ttf (GNU FreeFont License ***)

• FreeMonoBold.ttf (GNU FreeFont License ***)

• FreeSans.ttf (GNU FreeFont License ***)

• FreeSerif.ttf (GNU FreeFont License ***)

All these fonts will be stored into the folder: /sdcard/Android/data/com.difftool.fonts/files/fonts

With any file explorer, you can of course move these files to your external SD card (to save internal flash).

For DiffTool other True Type Fonts can be also downloaded from internet or can be copied from your PC. For example free for private use only is Bitstream Cyberbit see http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bitstream_Cyberbit EXTERNAL LINKS with 32910 chars or have a look at http://unifoundry.com/unifont.html which has more than 64000 characters and is nearly complete.

Nearly all Microsoft Office® and many Mac® **** users do have a licensed "Arial Unicode MS" font on their computer, which has 38917 chars and works with DiffTool too.
